 The Village Care Collective is a free, grassroots project rooted in one simple truth: parenting was never meant to be done alone.

In a world where families are stretched thin and support can feel out of reach, we’re rebuilding the village—one trusted connection at a time. Our goal is to create a safe, community-based net of care for families in Grey Bruce.

Here, there’s no pressure to have it all together. No perfectly clean houses. No judgment. Just real people, showing up for one another. 

In the mess, in the magic, and in all the ordinary moments in between. 

Sometimes, the best care comes from working together.

Village Pods are small groups of families who coordinate shared care—whether it’s swapping afternoons, hiring a caregiver together, or simply teaming up to make things easier.

For families, it means more affordable care and deeper connection.

For caregivers, it means steadier hours, increased earning potential, and the joy of supporting a few families who actually know each other.
